DMT molecule necklace

A necklace of the DMT molecule (Dimethyltryptamine).

It is made from some paper clips which I cut into pieces and soldered together with tin.
It was almost impossible to make the little balls, which are representing the H, C or N atoms, round. The structure is kind of correct, but it looks kind of crappy.
So I will definitely try it again sometime.

Why I made this molecule is because it fascinates me. Not the structure itself, but the function. It is natural present in many plants, but also humans and other mammals.
But if taken in a high enough dose it acts as a psychedelic drug. Which causes hallucinations, dreams and mystical experiences.
They say it gives you an experience in which the borders of your conciousness and the universe fade. Or a total loss of connection to conventional reality. As if it tunes your consiousness to other frequencies and makes the mind go beyond threshold.
Makes you wonder if it is just the drugs or maybe there might be other dimensions, but we just don't have the tools to see them. But maybe with DMT or other substances we have.

I never tried it myself, but it fascinates me that substances from plants or other organism fit on our receptors and the receptors of other beings. And that they can do something with us, whether its in a good or bad way. Kind of like everything on this planet is somehow connected.
